Pakistani veteran pacer, Muhammad Amir came out of retirement after almost 3.5 years. He announced his retirement after t20i series against England in December 2020. One day before his friend and his ex teammate Imad Wasim also withdrew his decision of retirement . Current PCB Chairman Mr. Mohsin Naqvi and Selectors approached Amir and had a talk with him which resulted in his comeback.

Muhammad Amir posted a message on his social media handles in which he said that he still dreams to play for Pakistan. He further said that he had a talk with Pakistan Cricket Board which is the main reason of his comeback to international cricket . Amir assured that he is available for the upcoming t20 World Cup in June 2024 in West Indies and United States of America ( USA ). He said that he is excited to wear the green jersey again to represent his country .

He made his comeback in 2016. Then he announced is retirement in 2020. Now he has took his retirement back and is ready to represent Pakistan again. His life is full of downhills and uphills.
